Queerness is a Portal was a collaborative and experimental gallery show taking place in MK Gallery, Portland, OR. It invited a group of undergraduate students working with themes of queer placemaking to bring these ideas from theory to action in the gallery setting. It explored art education taken out of the classroom setting, participatory art making, and co dreaming ideas into action.
