INVERTED Experience
These experimental performance pieces are ongoing and meant to make queer history research public, accessible, and a multi-sensory experience. Each performance is made up of handmade clothing, Invert: A Queer Newspaper and a variety of research and books that explore queer history. They take place in public, unexpected places making space for questions like what happens when a fashion show disrupts a traditional museum opening? And how does the a mall become something new when art is introduced on its escalators?
